I had the recent pleasure of photographing Capitol Records’ NIGHTMARE & THE CAT while they filmed an acoustic music video in Pasadena.  Having admired and applauded Nightmare for several years, I can say with vehemence that they have consistently impressed me as I’ve watched them record and perform live.  Their energy has shifted and strengthened into the amazing magnetism that it is right now, as they inevitably accelerate toward notoriety.   I am lucky to have become close to such creative individuals – inspired cogs in an unbridled machine, the whole of which is greater than the sum of its parts– and I adore capturing their process.  Thanks to the incredible and picturesque studio by Hollis Hart, I truly loved photographing the gorgeous Claire Acey (sortof literally) singing in the rain!
