Q Drum Co. is an LA-based custom drum shop building extraordinary kits from modern and classic materials. I spent the day at the the shop where the crew worked steadily to get ready for the 2015 NAMM show. One of the things Q Drum Co. truly excels at is their metal drum construction and it was so impressive to watch the guys work on a number of metal pieces with such skill and artistry. Just looking at each incredible vintage-inspired drum and observing the meticulous assembly process makes me wish I had an excuse to buy one of these modernized hand-crafted kits.
