Last year I spent a little time in the studio with Alabama Shakes as they worked on their sophomore album Sound & Color with producer and guitar virtuoso Blake Mills and engineer Shawn Everett.  I was only in there for a short while but I am so glad to have been invited in to capture some snippets of their recording process at the legendary United Recording Studios in Hollywood.
